Data Security and Outsourcing- Risk or Reward?

With the growing technology, we are largely reliant on the data stored on the network servers, PCs, laptops, mobile or within the cloud. Data security can be a primary concern for any companies or individuals wanting to outsource their work. As outsourcing often involves complex and advanced privacy and data security leading to sensitive information being processed or held in systems managed by your outsourcing partner, the primary step to follow before outsourcing is to ensure that your outsourcing partner is managing this effectively.

  • Do they have a sound, rational and strict security policy?
  • Is you data safe and secure?
  • Are their security standards audited?
  • Do they have an upgraded, robust and world-class technology?

When you outsource your services, you need to be assured of the complete security and confidentiality of your data. At QX Recruitment Services, we take the security concerns of our customers very seriously and have taken necessary security measures to ensure complete data privacy.

ISO 27001:2013

QX has held ISO 27001:2013 international standard for Information Security Management Systems for a number of years now, covering its divisions in its Indian delivery centre. This certification covers a framework of policies and procedures including all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an information risk management process.

Cyber Essentials Plus

The UK government has worked with the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME) consortium and the Information Security Forum (ISF) to develop Cyber Essentials, a set of basic technical controls for organisations to use which delivery protection to around 80% of the main cyber threats.

QX has received Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Cyber Essentials is the UK government-backed scheme to help businesses protect themselves against cyber threats. The higher level of assurance which QX has achieved included the Certification Body testing that the five key data controls (boundary firewall and gateways, secure configuration, access control, malware protection and patch management) are working in practice by simulating basic hacking and phishing attacks.

G-Cloud 9 digital framework

The QX group has been awarded a place on the Government’s Digital Marketplace through the G-Cloud 9 digital framework. The Digital Marketplace is an online platform that enables the government and wider public sector organisations looking for cloud-based services (eg web hosting or online accounts services), to procure them faster and cheaper through the G-Cloud 9 frameworks than by entering into individual procurement contracts. The company needs to undergo a highly complex procedure to comply with requirements of the G-Cloud 9 framework.

Don’t let security concerns stop you from experiencing the benefits that outsourcing offers. Outsource to QX Recruitment Services and experience the best of outsourcing while staying assured that your confidential data is in secure hands.
